Distinguish an estimate from a date explicitly confirmed under stated conditions. Do not assume another customer's timing will apply to your order.
Keep written clarification with the relevant order or offer information. Use the existing reference when asking about a time-sensitive request.
Distinguish the person paying from the person receiving the benefit. Ask whether the recipient can choose an option themselves if needed.
